This week I am featuring the Warm Welcome Bundle from Stampin’ Up!’s January – April 2023 Mini Catalog. This bundle is part of an early release and not pictured in either of the current printed catalogs. Use the links below to find the stampset or bundle and order yours now to start sending friendly and welcoming messages. Create layered looks using the dies, add details with the coordinating stamps, then color those cute line-art images with the colors of your choice! Celebrate special occasions or simply send a warm heartfelt note to a special someone.

Today’s card is a fun mixture of products from the Warm Welcome bundle and the Yeti to Party stampset. I think the yeti is adorable and cannot wait to color him like Sully from Monsters Inc. That movie ranks high in my all time favorite movies list. If you haven’t seen it you really should. **I used the Yeti dies that are not currently available, BUT I believe you might find them on the clearance rack on December 1st. **

I CASEd this card from a talented demonstrator named Bethany Barnard and changed very few things about it. I love how the panel die cut adds the look of wainscoting to the wall. A pattern from the He’s the Man designer series paper creates a hard wood floor, and a pattern from the Boughs of Holly designer series paper creates wall paper. The greeting even looks like a wall hanging.

Full confession: when I first saw this bundle I was not immediately drawn to it. I thought it would be limiting with the open door taking center stage. How many cards could I make with a door? I’m here eating a little humble pie now as I’ve shared 2 cards that feature the open door paired with stamps from other sets. And in this week’s Class To Go I have 3 cards that don’t feature the open door. You can tune in to my YouTube channel at noon CST on Tuesdays for the livestream of the weekly Class To Go or catch the replay in the blog post every Wednesday.

I colored the yeti with Pool Party Stampin’ Blends and moved the color around with the Color Lifter. This created the hint of color rather than defined coloring.

I hope you are inspired to be creative today. I’ll be back tomorrow with 3 more designs in this week’s Class To Go.

Here are a couple more photos from our Thanksgiving trip. You know the 3 of us, my parents are beside Hardin, my aunt and uncle are beside me, and new friends are at the end of the table. Our Thanksgiving meal did not disappoint, and we didn’t have to prepare or clean up! Later that day my mom pulled out snowballs and started a snowball fight! I’m still shaking my head that with all the sorting, giving, and selling, she kept a set of the snowballs, moved them, and could find them!
