Use Your Christmas Supplies for More than Christmas

It’s not uncommon to think “I don’t want to make that card, because I don’t send______.” Part of my job as your coach is to help you see beyond the obvious occasion to the possibilities beyond. That’s what I attempted to do in the November Virtual Card Class on Thanksgiving Day. I used Christmas supplies and made a birthday day card and a friend card.

Whimsy and Wonder

The Whimsical Wonder Suite is full of surprises. It’s Christmas but non-traditional colors. It’s Christmas but also winter. I’ve used this Christmas designer series paper to create 2 cards that aren’t Christmas.

A Good Cause

The Strong of Heart stampset is making a difference and supporting heart health. Stampin’ Up! is donating $3 from every purchase of this stampset. It’s only available until January 2, 2022. I knew I wanted to include this stampset in the November class but determining the design was a challenge. I finally decided to CASE Sam Hammond and the bright fun colors from the Whimsy and Wonder DSP.

Don’t Stop CASEing

I CASEd all 4 designs today. Two of them are Christmas. Lori Pinto’s red and white card totally caught my eye. I’ll be making more of it. Lee Ann Greff provided the inspiration for the layered card featuring the Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite. I can’t wait to repeat this design with different paper and themes.
