Today is a big day; hold on to your hat
- The December Blog Hop with the Tech 4 Stampers Academy group is today, and we are celebrating. Not only are we hopping along with celebration themed projects, we are also having a virtual party this afternoon. I can’t wait to see what my lovely and talented friends have created. I’m sure to find inspiration, and I know you will also.
- Today I’m sharing my last Class To Go of 2022. I had planned for next week to be the last class of the year, but I realized last night that I have an eye injection on the 20th. I’ll take the day to rest and then prepare for our Christmas celebrations.
- Stampin’ Up! has announced that Thursday, December 15 they are offering FREE Shipping on qualifying orders! I’ll be replenishing my card stock and purchasing some Paper Pumpkin subscriptions to give as gifts. Follow this link for your shopping on Thursday.
Stepping Out With Framed Florets
Today’s card is a design from my December Card Class. There are actually 2 classes featuring this bundle this month. The Class To Go features 3 designs and will be broadcast live on Tuesday, December 13 at noon CST. And there’s the December Card Class featuring 4 designs that meets in person on December 17 or can be shipped the following week. Today’s design is from the latter; it is 1 of 4 designs from the class.
This is an easy fun fold that appears to have steps. I like these cards that easily stand on their own, don’t you? I’m sending this card to someone celebrating a special birthday this month. I know she will have it on display and appreciate the love that I put in to creating it.
I love the mixed fonts used in the greetings of the Framed Florets stampset. The coordinating designer series paper is only available until January 4, 2023 or while supplies last. It’s a lovely combination of some of my favorite colors with colors that I’m not usually drawn to.
Stampin’ Up! describes the stampset this way. These delicate flowers can be used alone for a simple, elegant look. Or put them together in a variety of ways for a fancy floral bouquet—it’s up to you! And the best part? The open, line art images can be custom colored using your favorite Stampin’ Up! coloring technique! Pick your favorite florals, then add one of six heartfelt sentiments for a handcrafted card that says it all!
Tomorrow’s blog post will include the replay from today’s livestream and share 3 more card designs featuring items from the collection. I hope you feel inspired to create.
I know you will enjoy all the projects in the hop. Have fun hopping along.
