Over the weekend I did a little clean up on my YouTube channel and discovered several Facebook live videos that had been uploaded but never published. Since I knew I would likely be a little under the weather this week, I decided it was a good time to share some of the videos.
I absolutely fell in love with the squirrel images from the stampset Nuts About Squirrels when it was introduced in the July-December mini catalog in July 2021. I love that you can color the line art images with ink, pencils, or Stampin’ Blends, or you can fill them with the solid image stamp. I think they also remind me of the animation of my youth.
I found photos of the cards I shared in the video plus another favorite card that I mass produced and sent out with prizes to my team. All 5 of the cards were CASEd from other demonstrators. I believe the 4 in the video were shared by Selene Kempton. I’m not sure where the smoky slate one with the stamped background came from.
The Nuts For Squirrels stampset is available in the new 2022-2023 annual catalog along with some new adorable creature stamps and line art stamps. We are certain to fall in love with them.
Do you ever mass produce cards? Is your process like mine pictured below? I work one step at a time for all the cards before moving to the next step. This works really well as long as I don’t make any measuring errors. I love the black, gray, and white colors of the card with the buffalo check ribbon. But my favorite part might be something I don’t think I’ve done before or since – the 3 layers for the central image. It’s very striking.
The Facebook Live
Each Monday I draw winners from the comments of the previous week and send out a little happy mail. There was a slight exception this week; I drew yesterday. Congratulations to June Leyendecker for winning the drawing from the April 12 post. You will receive an Amazing in Pink card and some patterned paper. Jeannie Pierce won the drawing from the April 13 post and will receive a brand new Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin’ Pad. Congratulations to you both!
Next Monday I will draw a winner from those who leave a comment or share my video or blog post from April 18 and from the online class post on April 21.
True confession – I did not rewatch my video. I hope and pray that it was unpublished because I just didn’t get around to it. If you watch it and discover a reason that I should take it down and delete it, please text me right away. 615.854.0376 That really would be awful.
