It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for Card Yahtzee, where a role of the dice provides the card recipe. I got lucky that the roll last week indicated a monochromatic card, and a fellow Rubber Queen demonstrated a gorgeous one at the team gathering last night. Check out the video replay and learn how to create a stunning monochromatic card with layers using the Peaceful Cabin bundle.
The dice suggested a monochromatic thank you card in Regal colors with ribbon/twine and sponging. If you missed the video, catch the replay to see how the ingredients came together. I love the Regals color family! I shared samples with Shaded Spruce and Cajun Craze from the Regals and Evening Evergreen from the In Colors family. They are all stunning. I didn’t quite hit all 5 categories with my cards, but I’m okay with that. I’m not using Card Yahtzee to prove my ability to follow the recipe; this is to spark creativity and expand my confidence in designing. Sometimes I’ll hit all 5. Sometimes I’ll CASE the work of another demonstrator.
Join the fun of Yahtzee and create your own versions. I’d love to see them. Card Yahtzee streams to my Facebook page on Wednesdays at 2:00 pm cst. Next week’s recipe calls for an over the top thank you card in colors from the Neutrals family with blending and texture.
Not to hijack my blog post with news, but some things must be shared everywhere. If you don’t subscribe to my newsletter you might miss out. So just a couple of quick updates.
