Sometimes you need a background and don’t have designer series paper that works. I am so accustomed to using DSP for layers that when a stampset doesn’t have coordinating patterned paper, I’m a little lost. I’m learning that stamped images create gorgeous backgrounds and even focal points. Today I have 2 very different cards with backgrounds created from the stamped images. They are gorgeous! And this is a technique to remember.

The YouTube Live

We made both cards in 30 minutes! Even if I hadn’t done the prep work ahead of time these would have been quick, clean and simple cards. I CASEd the Dahlia card from the Demo Design Dream Team. I joined this group a couple of months ago. Every month each member creates a tutorial for one project creating a bundle of tutorials we offer as a thank you to our customers and as a perk to our teams. I’m getting some great ideas and hope that you will also.

The panel card features the Enjoy the Moment stampset and is CASEd from nancysniftynotes.com. It features a favorite color, Mossy Meadow and is a different presentation of the panels I love so much. Last year I created backgrounds with stamped images from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set. I think I’ll pull it back out and follow this card recipe. Stay tuned for more photos.
