I Didn’t Want to Love It
This week I am featuring the Jingle Jingle Jingle Stampset from Stampin’ Up!’s July – December 2022 Mini Catalog.
The Jingle Jingle Jingle Stamp Set features outlined and graphic versions of Christmas sentiments which can be used in so many ways. Stamp the outlined word on a card front and use the masking technique to stamp each letter of the graphic version in different festive colors to really make your card pop! Or try your hand at designing each letter of the outlined word with your favorite coloring technique. With so many combinations to try, you’ll be using this stamp set for years to come!
This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set; it allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colors you want.
Today’s card is a fun mixture of products from the Jingle Jingle Jingle stampset, the Candy Cane dies and the Gnome dies. I love finding ways to mix and match my products like this. I CASEd this card from a talented demonstrator named Michele Reynolds and changed very few things about it. I added a little more bling with a White Glimmer paper panel instead of Basic White. I love green, but I see some red versions of this in my future.
Full confession: I didn’t want to love this stampset. That’s not quite right. I loved it from the moment I saw it. I didn’t want to NEED it. But as often happens, I saw more and more projects with it and it moved higher and higher on my wish list until it made it into an order. Last weekend our Demonstrator Development Manager, Kate Spackman, was in town and hosted a crafternoon with local demonstrators. Five members of my team joined me for the afternoon of fellowship, stamping fun, prizes, and yummy treats. Rick Adkins drove over from Georgia to join the fun. He was so fun and festive I had to take a selfie with him.
