I recorded a video on Tuesday to share Thursday, today. Yesterday, my husband, my son, and I started out driving to Florida to take my parent’s vehicles to them. Hardin and I were in my mom’s car, and Greg, bless him, was driving my dad’s truck. We set out early to make our stop for the night before dark. (I don’t drive in the dark unless I absolutely must.) We were about 15 minutes from home when the oil pressure warning light flashed in my mom’s car. It flashed a couple of times. Her car is now at our local dealer hoping that the overworked/understaffed service department can take a look at it in 3 or 4 days! We’ve rescheduled our trip for Thanksgiving. As several of my friends shared, God was looking out for us. We could have been anywhere on our 2 day journey when this happened and left us stranded. What a blessing it was to be so close to home.
We ordered pizza and watched the new Top Gun movie last night. Have you seen it? It was not a bad way to spend the evening. Next on my list is the Elvis movie. My friend, Hope, has promised a movie night soon. I’ve heard I should bring tissues.

I debated making the same cards I made Tuesday and throwing away the video I recorded on Tuesday. I decided to make 3 new cards and share Tuesday’s recording as a bonus.
Today’s card designs could be made into an endless variety of cards with different greetings, die cuts or punches, and designer series paper. I love having basic designs like this to turn to. I have a disclaimer. I recorded this video on Tuesday and intended it to be the video shared today. That means there is some overlap between the 2 videos. I shared the sneak peek of upcoming class designs in both. In the video I indicated that the card kit would include pieces to make the cards shared in Tuesday’s video. That is not the case. I will be sending pieces to make the cards from Thursday’s video.
October classes feature the Hope & Peace stampset, the Splendid Thoughts bundle, the Soft Seedlings stampset, and the Peace to You stampset. In the recorded video I created 3 cards featuring the Warm Welcome bundle, the Hope & Peace stampset, and the Soft Seedlings stampset. I was inspired by many stampers including the stamping that took place on World Card Making Day, October 1.
