Isn’t that a sweet phrase? What does it make you think of? In today’s video it’s all about new babies! My friends, Brian and Donna, welcomed their first grandchild on Friday. He’s a beautiful baby boy, and I can’t wait to meet him. The timing of his arrival was perfect, because I needed a kid or baby themed card for my tutorial group. The baby’s mom teaches agriculture science at a local high school which gave me an idea of which stampset to use.

The Picture This dies allow you to create a cohesive card from several individual images. Hope and I did this with the Nut’s & Bolts class earlier this month. You can order this class kit if you’d like practice coloring and using this technique.

I used several fun products in my card today and hopefully sparked some creativity for you. The video is a little long – I made the card from start to finish sharing how to use all these great tools. Catch the replay and learn how to use the Paper Trimmer, the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine, the Stampin’ Blends, and the fun Picture This dies.

Nothing could actually be sweeter than a new baby. But making cards for some special babies in your life is pretty sweet. Coloring farm animals is pretty fun. Creating a Chic-Fil-A cow makes you hungry. Working with your favorite shape – I don’t know what that is. I just want to point out that I love circles. This card layout works for lots of occasions and is a fun way to bring separate images together.

I made Wyatt’s card before the video and learned a few things from it. Notice from the photos that the tails for the cow and horse are placed differently. I think I like the placement for Nolan’s a little better, but I’m not sure why. Do you have a preference? Fussy cutting (cutting with scissors) is a little tricky for small images like the hooves. My overgrown nails might be part of my challenge. Coloring the little animals was just fun. It was fun to give them personality.
