I am offering a class on November 30th featuring the Great Tidings bundle and wanted to create a few other project ideas. When I ran across Jane Proffit’s card with this beautiful sky, I had to CASE it. I couldn’t believe it was so easy to create with ink and paper.I wish I could walk outside and enjoy such clear nights and visible stars.
In Monday’s YouTube live I had hoped to also share an Angels of Peace card, because 11.30.21 offers a double header. There are 2 classes that day. Both can be in person or to go. And both are fundraisers for the Foundation Fighting Blindness. The Great Tidings card is technique heavy with heat embossing, blending, and coloring. It took all the time we had available.
I remade the sky layer after the video because I felt like using the versamark and embossing dots didn’t have the right look. This time I used white craft ink, watered down, and dotted with a water painter. I also finished coloring after the video – it’s just boring to watch someone else color. I love coloring but hate forcing you to watch me. The colors I used are all listed in the product list. If you need help recreating, just leave a comment.
If you would like more information about any of the classes I have, please visit the classes page here. I’ve had a few technical issues this week and had to extend registration. If you don’t find answers to your questions, please leave a comment. I continue to add information and tweak the website daily.
I would love to hear from you and know what you are creating today. Please drop a comment or email and let me know. hello@michelesalchow.com. If you would like to receive an email with every blog post please complete the form at the bottom of the post.
Stamped Blessings,
