Creating beautiful landscapes can be quick and easy with very few products. In today’s YouTube live I used cardstock, the New Horizons designer series paper, stamps, ink, and ribbon. Links are posted below for all the products I used to create these cards. Just click on them to order.

The New Horizons DSP is featured in the January Card Club. It offers endless possibilities for card making. We are making birthday cards in Card Club, but in today’s broadcast I made gorgeous landscape cards quick and easy with a few coordinating colored products. If you act quickly by end of day, January 11, you can still join the January Card Club. This class is available by subscription or one off. One off is the same price but doesn’t include the bonus perks of the subscription. It’s available in person on 01.29.22 or to go. You’ll find registration details here and there’s a sneak peek of the cards below and in the video.

The YouTube Live

The New Horizons Suite of products offers endless possibilities for creating. It can be center stage in quick and easy landscapes for card making or home decor, crafting. It can be used to created beautiful backgrounds like the ones for the birthday cards in January Card Club. In the YouTube broadcast I showed you how to be an artist and create lovely landscapes quickly and easily with minimal products and different card recipes.

We used a 4 x 5.25 piece for the Relax & Enjoy Your Day card. I trimmed a small amount from the top, bottom, and sides of the DSP leaving light colored space at the top and bottom for the birds and a greeting. The trees stamped in Evening Evergreen add a very subtle touch.

For the sympathy card I cut 3″ from the top of the card and 0.5″ from the side leaving a 3×5.5 piece for the middle of a landscape card. The Mountain Air stampset coordinates with the New Horizon suite beautifully. I chose the mountain stamp to add a subtle definition to the DSP. I matted the DSP on Misty Moonlight cardstock and attached it to a Misty Moonlight card base with dimensionals. The birds are from the On the Horizon stampset and the greeting is from a Sale-A-Bration stampset called Special Moments. You can choose this stampset FREE during January and February with a $100 purchase

The 3rd card has no greeting and can be used for any occasion. I used a 4×4″ piece on the front and a 1×4″ piece on the inside. In the video I made an error cutting the inside piece and had to borrow a strip from another piece of the same pattern. The trees and birds from On the Horizon are the only details I added.

This suite is a favorite of mine. I have many more ideas to share. Due to ribbon availability participants in January Card Club will receive a full pack of the New Horizons DSP, not just 1/2 pack. What a value!!
