About Me
Three images to tell the story
My logo I chose a rooster because it represents dawn or time to get up. I like to see the sunrise. I like to be busy and moving from sun up to sun down. We can still be friends if you are a night owl. My husband and one of our children are nightowls. Text anytime. I use Do Not Disturb on my phone; it’s a favorite feature.
Weathervanes provide direction and are typically seen in the country. I have no sense of direction. GPS is a must have. You may not know it, but a sense of direction is evidently genetic. As my brother can verify, we once made a lap on the Nashville Fairgrounds speedway with my grandfather at the wheel. He made a wrong turn. Those banked curves should be taken at speeds greater than 20 mph.
Weathervanes are typically found in the country. I have strong roots in Cheatham County. That is country! It’s there that my love of crafting was born in addition to an appreciation for houses that include bathrooms!
I’ve always had a crafting hobby. I am very blessed to have turned that into a jobby.
Maui Beach I asked my 13 year old son to take a photo of me on our vacation. It wasn’t just any vacation. We were in Maui, on a trip that I earned with my jobby! Can you imagine a better reward for hard work? I cannot. I give thanks everyday for the people in my life that made that possible – family, friends, customers, and team mates.
Nala the cat Nala is our son’s cat. She misses him when he’s at school. She cries. I pick her up; she mostly balances herself. You’ll see her on videos and zoom calls. She’s warm, and I am always cold.
The rest of the story
I started my business in 2015. Stampin’ Up! introduced a Holloween project that I had to make. I knew at least 10 friends who would also want to create one. Before I knew it we were gatheried around my dining room table getting inky and maybe a little sticky. When we were finished they asked, “What’s next?”
Christmas tags came next. After that came Paper Pumpkin, monthly classes, and friends joining my team. We have figured out the other pieces together. Jump here to learn more about my awesome team.
I recently left a full time job and am now a full time crafter. I love helping others find their inner artist and building relationships around the world. I hope we can be friends and craft together.
I live in middle Tennessee, near where I grew up, with my husband, our youngest son, a large dog, and 3 cats. My parents live next door, and our daughter and her family live not far away. Our oldest son pops on to my Facebook lives once in a while for Moments with Marshall.
Last summer we traveled on our very first Stampin’ Up! incentive trip. It was amazing!
