Paper piecing is quite a tongue twister to say, but the technique doesn’t have to be complicated. I hope after you see my samples from today you’ll try paper piecing. Full disclosure – This was a facebook live in August that never made it to the blog. It was a busy week with Haddie’s wedding, Marshall’s birthday, and Mimi duty. The host code isn’t correct in the video, and some of the talk about Sale-A-Bration is out of date.

Gather your supplies from the list below and create your project along with me. If you are’t sure what you might paper piece or even what it is, check out my photos. I paper pieced her skirt. If you don’t have the Delivering Cheer stampset use a different one. In a recent card class we paper pieced flowers with the Hand-Penned DSP and made some lovely flowers.

The video walks you through all the steps for paper piecing and even coloring with the Stampin’ Blends. In this case I think the visual is way more valuable than me trying to type our directions.

You might notice a sneak peek in the photos. Good eye! I’m getting ready for a craft fair this weekend. That little luminary is one of the items I will have for sale. Stop by and say hi if you are in the area – Our Lady of the Lake Church in Hendersonville, TN. To focus on the craft fair I’ve pushed the Virtual Card Class to the next weekend. I hope you’ll join me for it Thanksgiving afternoon.

I hope you have heard about the Seasonal Sale on ink, card stock, and dies. The sale is only 3 days – November 16 -18. It’s a great time to stock up on basics and when you combine this with the Starter Kit sale, the deal is unbelievable. Watch for my newsletter with ideas for maximizing your savings during the sale.

If you would like more information about any of the classes I have, please visit the classes page here. I’ve had a few technical issues this week and had to extend registration. If you don’t find answers to your questions, please leave a comment. I continue to add information and tweak the website daily.

I would love to hear from you and know what you are creating today. Please drop a comment or email and let me know. hello@michelesalchow.com. If you would like to receive an email with every blog post please complete the form at the bottom of the post.
