Monday was a Monday! I nearly cancelled my Facebook live and stomped around in my frustration. Nope! For Pete’s sake I’m wearing a shirt that proclaims “God-fidence”. So I grabbed some prepped cardstock from a training that I attended and we created a couple of projects together. I’m not sure if they were designed by Ronda Wade or Erica Cerwin, but they were super cute and met the objective. My mood turned right around.
The day had some highlights that were totally noteworthy. My friend, Lori Rowe, stopped by with a couple of gifts. She took my Snailed It class last month, and turned the thank you card I created for her into a mug and coaster. LOVE!! And she gave me one of her signature journals. She makes these adorable journals for gifts and sells them during the holidays. Thank you so much. Lori! Watch the video and please share her some love in your comments.
We worked on my mood with some of my favorite things – background stamping and coloring with the Stampin’ Blends. No surprise I’ve used the Color & Contour stampset. I did pull out a stampset I haven’t used before, Flowers of Friendship. It’s got great, mixed font messages and some pretty, easy to color floral images. I created a cute treat box/bag that I think I’ll use for Haddie’s wedding somehow. I need to get busy on those invitations – thank goodness I only need 30ish.
I should warn you that I’ve figured out this blog thing and I have a backlog that I’ll be adding over the next few days. There’s a big Maui post coming up. Have a great week. I hope you have God-fidence when your confidence lags.
